Mr. Dallas: supper club at Centrum, Part 1

Here's some fleshing out from the publicist about the new place going into the former Draelion spot in the Centrum Building that was first reported here.

Robert Colombo (Trece) will open the Club there this fall, "a modern yet sophisticated take on the supper club." Why "yet"? No telling.

Quoting from the official gush, here we go:

Decor: "Think refined retro: hand crafted ebony stained maple wood flooring, macassar and mahogany wood paneling, tartan upholstery banquets, brown horn picture frames, Italian polished white walls, complimenting [sic] a highly stylized open kitchen."

Patio: "In the style of a mini piazza, The Club’s outdoor patio will feature a large fire pit, outdoor bar and roomy lounge area."

Bar: "Floating glass shelves and brushed aluminum wine holders will house a large variety of spirits. Sterling silver picture frames featuring black and white photographs of Club regulars and Dallas notables will grace patrons as they sip luscious libations at the spacious, scroll-shaped bar. ... Unique to the bar is a commissioned mural by acclaimed photorealist artist Yankel Ginzburg."

Food: "The Club’s fare is classic, generous and rich, with special praise reserved for the prime cuts of meat. Guests will enjoy a variety of homemade organic pastas, “jet-fresh” seafood, including lobster, calamari and tuna, and an exquisite selection of aged, grass fed steaks."
